Ballroom Dancing around the world
d W Dance Magazine has been disseminating Ballroom Dancing information since 1991 worldwide. d W Dance started long before that with over 40 years of Ballroom Dance experience. This Dance Magazine has been distributed to student and on-line members throughout the years.  The founder of this magazine, is a professional Coach/Teacher in Florida, USA and UK.
Ballroom Dance is a set of partner dances, which is enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Because of its performance and entertainment aspects, ballroom dance is also widely enjoyed on stage, film, and television.  Ballroom dance may refer, at its widest definition, to almost any type of partner dancing as recreation. However, with the emergence of dancesport in modern times, the term has become narrower in scope, and traditionally refers to the five International Standard and five International Latin style dances. The two styles, while differing in technique, rhythm and costumes, exemplify core elements of ballroom dancing such as control and cohesiveness.  Developed in England, the two styles are now regulated by the World Dance Council (WDC) and the world dancesport federation (WDSF). In the United States, two additional variations are popular: American Smooth and  American Rhythm, which combine elements of both traditional Latin and Ballroom dances.   There are also a number of historical dances, and local or national dances, which may be danced in ballrooms or salons. Sequence dancing, in pairs or other formations, is still a popular style of ballroom dance.

After having done years of study in technique in ballroom dancing he continued doing his associate in the early 90's, with the IDTA. Hans de Wilde began building his dance company in London, Oxfordshire and Birmingham.  He has worked with various studios around the globe while helping other owners start their own Dance Studios.

In the UK he worked his way up to become qualified as an associate Ballroom Dance instruction and still studies to this day in the technique of Ballroom Dancing in fellowship level. His credentials can be seen on the ndca.org.

Apart from the above Hans has helped various different  charities; not just doing a show or a group class, but also getting more involved with the people within the organizations. He started helping the cancers research program in Naples, FL.  starting up their webpage, as well as teaching dancing to cancer patients.

Ballroom Dancing makes people very happy and has been known to curtail and alleviate many diseases. This form of dancing is a very small community worldwide if you compare this with other dance sports. There are very few Qualified Coaches like Hans in the world.  In just a few hours of coaching with him you will see and feel the difference of how your learning progresses.
